We process the minimum personal data needed to provide profit analytics: order totals, line items, and customer name/email only when displayed to the merchant in the app or exports. We do not use data for purposes beyond this.
This policy and our Privacy Policy describe what we process and why. Merchants install the app under these terms.
Profit Pie runs in the Shopify admin on behalf of the merchant. We do not sell customer personal data. We do not make automated decisions with legal or significant effects on customers.
Data in transit uses HTTPS. Production systems use encrypted hosting (Fly.io, MongoDB Atlas). Access is limited to authorized Primitive Labs staff.
Customer name and email are not stored in our database. Merchant business data is retained while the app is installed.
